In the wake of the distressing news about Kate Geraghty, the school has had a real sense of community.
Students have worked together brilliantly and tirelessly to organise fundraising activities to help raise funds for Kate so that she can access immunotherapy treatment.
Fundraising events have included a glorious car wash in the sunshine, a deliciously tasty coffee morning and cake sale (complete with raffle and tombola), a pool tournament and a nail bar. The effort and commitment shown by our students was inspiring and, thanks to their hard work, we raised a grand total of £2550.47! Well done all.
Special thanks also go out to one of our year 11 students who, in her own time, managed to get three signed Leicester Tigers shirts and auction them off for a very impressive £300!
Thank you to everyone for your support; it really is appreciated more than you know.
