Relationship and Sex Education Policy
The Children’s Hospital School fully recognises its responsibilities for ensuring children receive appropriate relationship and sex education and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Our policy reflects current legislation, accepted best practice and complies with the following government guidance:
DfE Relationship Education, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Heath Education (from September 2020)
Part of this new statutory guidance is that the policy and curriculum content is consulted on with parents/ carers. This is your opportunity to review what is being taught.
Parents can download and review our school’s Relationships and Sex Education policy which is in draft for current consultation with parents/ carers here until 31st May 2020
If you have any comments or questions please contact the school by email or ask to speak to James Stafford, Assistant Head Teacher.
